The Challenge!

Now, you may be wondering what this year's challenge is. In this year's challenge, the robots will be on a race-track that has a 6^1/2 foot high bridge crossing over the middle. As the robots race around the track they will receive 2 points for every full lap around the court. They will also get 8 points for throwing a 10 pound ball over the bridge.

Six teams will race at once, but not all against each other. Cooperation is as important as competition at FIRST, so the six teams will be evenly divided into a red and a blue team. That way, the competition also becomes a test of our ability to work together.

As much as possible, the six teams in each match will never be on the track together more than once.
